1. Take GSP to Atlantic City Expressway, Exit 38 towards Philadelphia.

4. Go 1 mile to English Creek Avenue (CR 575) and make left.
5. Follow for 3.5 miles; Training Center is on the right

5. Go approximately 0.5 mile and turn right onto Pulis Ave. (VFW is on the right at the intersection).

1. Route 17 North to the MacArthur Blvd exit.
2. Turn left at light onto MacArthur and go to the end.

5. Turn left onto Campgaw Road. The Institute is about 0.5 mile on the left.

Via Route 17 from the North:

1. Route 17 South to Route 202/Ramapo Valley Road.

3. Darlington Ave. North, bear right at fork onto Campgaw Road.
4. The institute is about 0.75 mile on the left.

2. At the top of the ramp and at the traffic light, turn left.

4. Proceed through the next traffic light and travel 1.5 miles to the next traffic light.
5. Proceed through the light and immediately bear to the right (County House Road).
6. The Fire Academy is about 0.5 mile on your left.

From I-295 Northbound:

1. Take Exit 18 (Mt. Royal, Clarksboro, Paulsboro).
2. At the top of the ramp and at the traffic light, turn right.
3. The Buckthorn Traveler’s Plaza will be on your right.
4. Follow directions as stated above.

From the Atlantic City Expressway or RT 322:

1. From the AC Expressway, take Exit 38 for Williamstown (RT 536 Sicklerville Road).
2. Follow to large intersection (see Geets Diner on your right).
3. Proceed through the intersection and follow all signs for RT 322 West.
4. Proceed about 15 miles. You will pass over RT 55.
5. Shortly thereafter, you will pass through 2 traffic lights.
6. Note a large WaWa on your left. Travel about 1 mile and bear right onto RT 667.
7. Follow RT 667 for 4 miles. At the traffic light for RT 667 and RT 45, the name will change to Cohawkin Road.
8. Continue straight for about another 4 miles. There will be a large cemetery on your left.
9. Turn right onto County House Road. (There is a sign, “Shady Lane” Juvenile Shelter, Fire Academy).
10. Proceed about 1 mile; the Fire Academy building can be seen on your right. It is the closest building to the road.

From RT 55:

1. Exit RT 55 at RT 322 West and follow directions above.

From NJ Turnpike:

1. Exit at Exit 2.
2. At the end of the ramp, turn left.
3. Follow RT 322 to the next traffic light (NOTE: Kingsway High School is on your far right).
4. Turn right onto Kings Highway.
5. Proceed north for about 7 miles.
6. Shortly after passing a Heritage convenience store on your left, you will see a white church on your right.
7. Turn right onto Shady Lane.
8. Proceed to stop sign (County House Road), turn left.
9. You will see the Fire Academy on your right. The building is the closest to the road.

From Route 24 Westbound:

1. Take Exit 1A.
2. At the first traffic light, make a right onto Hanover Avenue.
3. Proceed through 8 additional traffic lights.

From GSP Northbound:

1. Take I-295 South to Exit 4 – Penns Grove Woodstown.
2. Take Route 48 East to Route 40.
3. Turn right on Route 45 where Route 40 and 45 intersect (Landmarks – WaWa and Shopping Center).
4. 1.5 miles south, make a left on Cemetery Road (Landmarks – County Road Dept. and Veterans Cemetery).
5. Look for signs that say Salem County Emergency Services. The Academy is right next to the Salem County Road Dept. The Fire Training Center is on the right (it is a two-story brick building with three towers behind it). The entrance is the same as the Salem County Correctional Facility.

From the East:

1. Take Route 40 West through Woodstown to the traffic light (WaWa on the corner).
2. Proceed straight through the light onto Route 45 South.
3. Go approximately 1.5 miles and turn left on Cemetery Road. Follow the directions above.

From South East:

1. Take Route 49 West to Salem.
2. Turn right onto Route 45 North.
3. Go approximately 7 miles and turn right on Cemetery Road. The Academy is the second driveway on the right.

6. Go through the gates and make an immediate right.
7. Follow this road to the Training Academy.

From the South:

1. Garden State Parkway or New Jersey Turnpike to I-287 North.
2. Take Exit 14B to Route 22 West.
3. Go approximately 2 miles and take Route 202/206 South.
4. Take Route 206 South around the Somerville Circle toward Princeton.
5. Travel for approximately 2.5 miles and turn right onto Dukes Parkway West.
6. Travel approximately 1 mile and turn left onto Roycefield Road.

From the North:

1. From I-287 South, take Bridgewater Exit 17 (202/206 South).

4. Follow Route 206 to Route 519.
5. Left turn on Route 519 South until the intersection with Route 655.

1. Take Route 23 to Route 639 (Sussex Boro – Loomis Ave.).
2. Take Route 639 to Route 565 (McCoys Corner).
3. Route 565 South to Routes 206 & 15 (Ross’ Corner).
4. Follow Route 206 North to Route 519.
5. Take Route 519 South to Route 655.

1. Follow County Rt. 563 to Rt. 322 East, then take Garden State Parkway South to Exit 4B (Wildwood/Wildwood Crest).
2. You will be on Rt. 47 South (Rio Grande Ave.).
3. Continue 2.3 miles to Ocean Ave. and make a left.

Eastbound:

1. Drive under Parkway, turn right onto exit for Route 82 East.
2. Continue toward Elizabeth. Campus is within 2 miles.

1. Drive under Parkway, keep right and follow signs to Elizabeth (Route 82 East).
2. Turn right on Morris Avenue/82 east.
3. Turn right on Green Lane.
4. Make a left at the first traffic light and go straight through the 3-way stop to the guard booth.
5. This is the entrance to the visitor parking lot. Park here. Kean Hall is on your left when you are stopped at the guard booth.

From the Garden State Parkway:

Northbound:

1. Leave Parkway at Exit 140, keep right and follow signs for Route 82 East toward Elizabeth.
2. Turn right on Morris Avenue/82 east.
3. Turn right on Green Lane.
4. Make a left at the first traffic light and go straight through the 3-way stop to the guard booth.
5. This is the entrance to the visitor parking lot. Park here. Kean Hall is on your left when you are stopped at the guard booth.

Southbound:

1. Leave Parkway at Exit 140-A onto Route 22 West.
2. Keep right and follow signs to Elizabeth (Route 82 East).
3. Turn right on Morris Avenue/82 east.
4. Turn right on Green Lane.
5. Make a left at the first traffic light and go straight through the 3-way stop to the guard booth.
6. This is the entrance to the visitor parking lot. Park here. Kean Hall is on your left when you are stopped at the guard booth.

From Routes 1 & 9:

Northbound:

1. Enter Elizabeth and go around the Bayway circle onto Route 439 West (Elmora Avenue).
2. Continue to Morris Avenue (Route 82 West).
3. Turn left onto Green Lane.
4. Make a left at the first traffic light and go straight through the 3-way stop to the guard booth.

Southbound:

1. Entering Elizabeth, follow signs for Local Traffic (extreme right).
2. Follow signs to North Avenue.
3. Turn right onto North Avenue (Route 439).
4. Turn right onto Route 82/Morris Avenue.
5. Turn left onto Green Lane.
6. Make a left at the first traffic light and go straight through the 3-way stop to the guard booth.
7. This is the entrance to the visitor parking lot. Park here. Kean Hall is on your left when you are stopped at the guard booth.

From The New Jersey Turnpike:

Exit 13A (Elizabeth):

1. Follow North Avenue West sign onto Route 439.
2. Turn right on Morris Ave/Route 82.
3. Turn left onto Green Lane.
4. Make a left at the first traffic light and go straight through the 3-way stop to the guard booth.
5. This is the entrance to the visitor parking lot. Park here. Kean Hall is on your left when you are stopped at the guard booth.

From Exit 13 (Elizabeth):

1. Follow signs for Route 439 (Bayway Ave).
2. Continue across Route 1-9 at Bayway Circle onto 439/Elmora Avenue (the street name may change to North Ave).
3. Turn left onto Route 82/Morris Avenue.
4. Turn left onto Green Lane.
5. Make a left at the first traffic light and go straight through the 3-way stop to the guard booth.
6. This is the entrance to the visitor parking lot. Park here. Kean Hall is on your left when you are stopped at the guard booth.

From Exit 14:

1. Take Route 1-9 South.
2. Entering Elizabeth, follow signs for Local Traffic (extreme right).
3. Follow signs to North Avenue.
4. Turn right onto North Avenue (Route 439).
5. Turn right onto Route 82/Morris Avenue.
6. Turn left onto Green Lane.
7. Make a left at the first traffic light and go straight through the 3-way stop to the guard booth.
8. This is the entrance to the visitor parking lot. Park here. Kean Hall is on your left when you are stopped at the guard booth.

Parking Information:

1. Students are permitted to park in white line spaces.
2. Students must print and display a parking permit. A link to the permit is on Parking Permit page with brochure displayed.

From Garden State Parkway South:

1. Take Exit 141 (First exit after Union Toll Plaza).
2. At the end of the exit ramp, turn left onto Vauxhall Road.
3. Follow Vauxhall about one mile until it ends at Salem Road.
4. Turn right onto Salem Road and go to the first light, which is Morris Avenue.
5. Turn left onto Morris Avenue. You will go under a railroad bridge.
6. At the second light after the bridge, turn left into Liberty Hall Center.
7. At the first stop sign, turn right and follow signs into the parking lot.

From Route 78 East/West:

1. Take Interstate 78 to the exit for Garden State Parkway.
2. Follow signs to Parkway South and pick up directions for Parkway South.

From NJ Turnpike:

1. Take the Turnpike to Exit 13A.
2. Follow signs to North Avenue West, which will take you to the intersection of North Avenue and US Routes 1&9.
3. Stay on North Avenue across 1&9 and follow it two miles to the intersection of Morris Avenue.
4. Turn right onto Morris Avenue and go to the second traffic light.
5. Turn right into Liberty Hall Center. At the first stop sign, turn right and follow signs into the parking lot.

From Garden State Parkway North:

1. Take Exit 140 (US 22 / Airport / 82 East) and follow signs to Highway 82 East-Elizabeth.
2. This will put you on Morris Avenue. Follow Morris Avenue about two miles.
3. You will go under a railroad bridge. At the second traffic light after the bridge, turn left into Liberty Hall Center.
4. At the first stop sign, turn right and follow signs into the parking lot
