The New Jersey Division of Fire Safety has chosen Jones and Bartlett’s Sixth Edition of Brannigan’s Building Construction For The Fire Service as the mandatory text and training curriculum for fire service building construction training programs within the State of New Jersey. This includes the twelve-hour building construction course required for Fire Officer I certification.

This one-day Train-The-Trainer program will provide instructors with an overview of New Jersey building construction training requirements, full course content, tactical objectives, key terminology, case studies, and summary information on New Jersey firefighter fatalities related to building construction types and methods.
Completing this TTT course is mandatory for instructors who desire to teach the 12- hour Building Construction program. Attendees must be a New Jersey Certified Level II Fire Instructor.
