The Division of Fire Safety, Office of Training and Certification has formally added “Resiliency” training to its New Jersey adopted Firefighter I and Firefighter II credentialing programs. New Jersey fire service instructors should attend this TTT delivery in order to become familiar with the instructional objectives of the program. Once fire academy or fire department fire instructors are trained through the TTT, they are permitted to train other local instructors in the resiliency program content and objectives. This program can be delivered separately from the firefighter credentialing program by eligible training organizations to meet the resiliency training needs of the fire service. The program delivery will be five hours in length, and will receive 0.5 CEU’s (Technical) towards renewal of a DFS fire instructor certification.
